Hmmm… Ms. Cutter, have you seen the Opinion of the 11th circuit? All your lovely math will be for naught after Justice Kennedy throws this monstrosity out.
Out of control costs and rising premiums haven’t gone ANYWHERE.
Listen. Just raise taxes on the rich, slash war spending (preferably significantly), close corporate tax loopholes, and abolish the Fed, and the real recovery can get underway. Capiche?
80% of the cost has to go to healthcare. How about doing that with medicare? oh wait, we do, only we have LOADS of fraud on medicare. The government runs 0 anti fraud on it, once you factor in what companies use for anti-fraud, you would have medicare pumping out less per dollar taken in than private insurance.
at 2:30, i think she just said something weird. If i understand,she is saying under the new bill, people who used to get FREE healthcare won’t. They will all have to pay. Maybe this bill isn’t so bad, we can remove free healthcare and force even the people scraping by to have to pay. So now they won’t have any excuse for not paying and getting FREE healthcare.
now, it has been awhile since i took calculus, but shouldn’t it be that the area above the line we pay now, should equal the area below the line? To show that the overall cost is the same? I don’t think you can just have everyone under the line, unless there is something signifcantly missing.

The bill counts the premiums toward entitlement as a reduction and ignored spending after that, left out 115 billion of spending to setup the program, money transferred from the social security trust fund for healthcare expenditures by my estimates its will raise deficit 500 billion. He doesn’t say how much it raises deficit without reform? It will be 4.6 trillion in 2019, up from $2.6 trillion in 2009.
There is only one way America can reduce the cost of health care, and that is to change the American Lifestyle. Americans live an unsustainable lifestyle, and it needs to change in order to see any reduction in health cost.
I do think the president is doing his best to solve this issue that should have been fixed years ago, but we cannot continue to try and find ways to “manage” cost. We must attach health cost at the source, and that is we must educate, and change the American lifestyle
The Chief Medicare Actuary testified before Congress today.. In his testimony, the actuary stated that Obamacare will NOT hold down costs and also will NOT let everyone keep their current insurance if they like it. In other words Obama LIED. Again. This administration is nothing but one lie after another lie.
